Sugatsune Linear Slides

Sugatsune's MLG, LGB, and MRS linear guide rails are precision-engineered solutions designed to deliver smooth, stable, and compact linear motion across a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The MLG series, featuring a unique "multi-roller" mechanism, utilises aluminium alloy rails with anodised silver finish and is compatible with MLG-20C guide blocks. These guides support side, vertical, or horizontal mounting and are ideal for applications requiring high-precision movement, such as food processing equipment, vending machines, and medical devices. The MLGX25 models, constructed from 304 stainless steel, incorporate the innovative "Dual-X" design, facilitating loads up to 120 N (27 lbs) in any orientation and maintaining consistent movement even under moment loads. They are suitable for automated machinery, robotics, and analytical equipment, and have passed rigorous 500,000 cycle tests to ensure durability. The LGB series offers compact linear guides made from materials like polyacetal and stainless steel, with dimensions such as 11 mm width and 6 mm height, making them suitable for space-constrained applications. These guides are commonly used in precision instruments and small-scale automation systems. The MRS series, including models like the MRS40-400, provides ultra-miniature linear guides with a 40 mm width, ideal for applications requiring minimal installation space without compromising performance. Sugatsune's diverse range of linear guide rails ensures that designers and engineers can select the appropriate solution to meet specific load capacities, environmental conditions, and spatial constraints across various industries.

OEM Automatic offers a comprehensive range of torque (friction) hinges, crafted from high-quality stainless steel from our manufacturer Sugatsune. These hinges provide reliable free-stop positioning up to 180°, with torque values ranging from around 0.3–2.5 Nm, depending on the model. They’re tested to withstand over 20,000–50,000 cycles, ensuring long-term durability. Some models come complete with optional covers for clean integration onto monitor displays or panel. We also offer solutions for larger lids with higher torque ranges of around 4–8 Nm with built in minimum torque to prevent accidental drops. In practical terms, these torque hinges are perfect in applications requiring controlled, ergonomic lid or flap movement, ideal for monitor mounts, cabinetry, access panels, medical equipment, and food-grade enclosures. Their corrosion-resistant stainless construction and smooth torque action make them reliable in demanding environments like factory automation, marine, and clean-room settings. Advanced models even combine torque with damping to allow soft-stop and hold-at-any-angle functionality aligning closely with Sugatsune’s Motion Design Tec philosophy of intuitive and precise motion control.
