One of the most innovative young companies in Germany, SMELA gained the honour of 2nd place overall at the nation’s Top 50 start-up awards during 2020.

From before and since that point, SMELA have continued to invest and develop their range of Smart Linear Actuators and as of 2021 they have entered full production capacity.

The smart linear actuator offers performance, running costs, reduced size envelope and longer life compared with more conventional short stroke positional air cylinders or electromechanical devices and has many advantages over most competing technologies.
