The Emerson ASCO Solenoid Valve Series L182-BIG is a diaphragm pilot-operated valve designed for reliable shutoff of both liquid and gaseous fluids. It features a 2/2 normally closed configuration with full orifice, ensuring efficient flow control. Available in G 1 1/4", G 1 1/2", and G 2" sizes, the valve supports an operating pressure differential of up to 10 bar. With an IP67 protection rating, it is built to perform in demanding environments.

Product description

The Emerson ASCO Series L182-BIG is a diaphragm pilot-operated solenoid valve engineered for the effective control of liquid and gaseous fluids. Featuring a 2/2 normally closed configuration with a full orifice design, it ensures optimal flow and reliable shutoff. Available in G 1 1/4", G 1 1/2", and G 2" sizes, this valve accommodates various piping requirements. Constructed with a brass body and NBR, FPM, or EPDM sealing materials, it offers compatibility with a wide range of media. The valve operates efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and supports fluid temperatures from -10°C up to +140°C, depending on the seal material used. ​

Designed to handle operating pressure differentials up to 10 bar, the L182-BIG is suitable for various industrial applications requiring dependable fluid shutoff. Its IP67 protection rating ensures resilience against dust and water ingress, making it ideal for challenging environments. The valve's maximum allowable pressure (PS) is 15 bar, and it supports media viscosities up to 5°E (~37 cStokes or mm²/s). Additionally, the L182-BIG is not suitable for use with dangerous fluids. The L182-BIG can be used in industries such as water treatment, HVAC and compressed air systems.
