In addition to raw material fire behaviour (HL3), railway engi neering requires reliable structural integrity at sensitive partitions, such as between the engine room and the passenger compart ment. The spread of flames through the wall cut-out must be strictly prevented for a specified period of time. That is exactly why we offer our certified KDS-RAIL fire protection kits for all different frame sizes. With these customised add-on packages, your installations effortlessly achieve the E30 fire resistance rat ing (30-minute fire integrity) in compliance with the European standard DIN EN 45545-3.
