DC Motor with Right Angle Gearbox
Whilst usually quieter than other types of gearboxes, the right angle worm gear box is generally less efficient and requires more motor power for a given torque in comparison with in-line gearboxes.
It is also not always a given that right angle gearboxes will have full self locking without power. If the products description does not suggest so, please ask our motors team for more information if this is a requirement.
