Work has recently taken place at OEM, where 472 solar panels have now been successfully installed on our roof.

This investment represents more than an energy upgrade. It’s a clear commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and taking greater responsibility for how we power our operations. By generating more of our own renewable energy on site, we are taking a practical step towards a more sustainable future for OEM Automatic.

Now fully operational, the solar installation is expected to deliver significant environmental and energy benefits:

• Annual energy saving of approximately 168,000 kWh, with around 40% exported back to the grid
• Annual CO₂ reduction of around 39,000 kg

This project is an important step in the right direction, this step in our sustainability journey is not a one‑off initiative. It’s a continuous effort that guides how we operate and make decisions. The solar panel installation is just one of several ongoing actions aimed at helping us reduce our environmental impact and operate more responsibly as a business.
