The Gryphonâ„¢ I GFS4100 is a fixed mount bar code reader, using advanced imaging technology, providing a complete self-contained solution for OEM use into self-service kiosks, price verifiers, ticket readers, document handling and medical lab applications, as well as vending machines and other automated equipment.
Â
With a simple 'plug-and-play' solution the Gryphonâ„¢ I GFS4100 is designed for easy integration for syste designers, constructed using high-impact resin in order to withstand cleaning with solvents and disinfectant solutions. To provide dependable and reliable scanning performance the sealed enclosure meets industrial standards against water and particulates.
Offering excellant performance on decoding poor or damaged codes the Gryphon™ I GFS4100 features outstanding near-field reading, wide angle field-of-view and improved motion detection. As with all Gryphon readers, the GFS4100 reader offers users additional good-read visual confirmation with Datalogic’s patented ‘Green Spot’ technology.
Â
The Gryphonâ„¢ I GFS4100 supports several modes that can be used as a trigger, it has the ability to automatically sense objects abd trigger itself, a continuoous scan mode can be used to transmit data whenever a barcode passes its field of view or the reader can be triggered remotely using input from a programmable logic controller or sensor.
There are two models available, The GFS4150-9 supports RS-232 serial interface, alternatively the GFS4170 features a USB interface. The USB version supports both USB-HID for easy integration and keyboard emulation, or USB COM for virtual serial communications.
