GUTH VENTILE

Pressure relief valve - bunging valve

Pressure relief valves are used on process vessels to maintain a fixed pressure within the tank, with any excess gasses produced during the process to be safely vented. A sub-set of the gas pressure relief valve is called a bunging valve. This is supplied with a glass shield around the valve which can be filled with water to provide visual feedback that the tank is venting. These are commonly used in brewing applications to see how active the fermentation process is.

Valve features include:

  • Variable pressure control
  • Manual override
  • 0.5-8.0 bar pressure range (0.2-3.2 bar for bunging valve)*
  • Optional cleaning hood
  • Can be supplied in a pressure regulation array
