SUCO - 0342/0343 PRESSURE SWITCH

ATEX rated

The SUCO 0342 and 0343 are explosion-protected mechanical pressure switches certified for ATEX zones 1/2 (gas), 21/22 (dust), and mining (M2) under 2014/34/EU and IECEx. They are among the most compact ATEX-rated pressure switches available, just 52 mm tall (hex 27). The 0342 model covers adjustable ranges from 0.3 to 50 bar with 6× overpressure safety (up to ~300 bar), while the 0343 handles 50–150 bar and withstands static pressures up to 600 bar. These switches provide rugged operation up to 250 V AC and 2 A resistive loads, housed in zinc-plated steel with anodized aluminium cap, and offer a variety of seal materials (NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, HNBR) and process connections (G¼, ¼ NPT) to suit different fluids and environments. Users can adjust the setpoint via an external screw, even while in service, enhancing flexibility.

Ideal for heavy-duty industrial and potentially explosive environments, such as oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, food processing, and pharmaceuticals, the 0342/0343 series ensures reliable pressure control and safety with a compact footprint. The flameproof "Ex d" enclosure contains any internal ignition and negates the need for external barriers. The diaphragm version (0342) suits low-to-mid pressures (0.3–50 bar), while the piston design (0343) is tailored for higher-pressure systems (up to 150 bar). Typical uses include hydraulic power units, compressor interlocks, pump protection, and process feedback loops in hazardous areas. With strong overpressure capacity and user-adjustable setpoints, these switches play a vital role in system safety, maintenance, and operational continuity.
