SUCO

Suco - 0164 Pressure Switch

Stainless steel body

The SUCO 0164 series is built around a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel body (hex‑24), designed to withstand demanding environments. It operates on voltages up to 42 V (AC/DC) and features either spade or screw terminal connections for electrical interfacing. Available in five adjustable pressure ranges this switch offers field-adjustable setpoints and stable switching behaviour over time, with a maximum deviation of ±0.2 bar and a high overpressure safety rating of 600 bar. Suitable for both normally open and normally closed SPST configurations, it supports currents up to 4 A. The switch accommodates media temperatures from 40 °C to +100 °C (and up to +120 °C with EPDM or FKM seals) and ambient temperatures between 20 °C and +80 °C.
Thanks to its robust stainless steel construction and NBR/EPDM/FKM seal options, the 0164 series excels in hygienic or corrosive media environments such as water treatment, medical devices, and chemical processing lines. Its compact design and spade/screw connection options simplify installation in compact control panels or mobile fluid systems. Users benefit from on-site setpoint adjustments for fine-tuning during commissioning and from reliable overpressure protection for safeguarding downstream components. Typical use cases include fluid-level safeguarding, pump control, leak detection alarm circuits, and pressure-based safety cut-offs in medical, industrial, and environmental systems.

What is hydrostatic level monitoring?

A hydrostatic level probe measures liquid level indirectly, by sensing pressure at a known depth. When the application is suitable and the installation is done properly, hydrostatic level probes offer several clear benefits.
