Suco - 0161 Heavy Duty Pressure Switch

The SUCO 0161 is a rugged, block-style mechanical pressure switch designed for heavy-duty industrial environments. It features a durable aluminium body (30 A/F) with a standard DIN 43650‐Form A connector and operates up to 250 V AC/DC with SPDT (changeover) silver contacts. It offers six field-adjustable pressure ranges, with high overpressure safety ratings ranging from 200 bar for lower-range diaphragm variants and up to 600 bar for piston types. The switch maintains excellent stability with a maximum deviation of ±0.2 bar on low ranges and ±0.5–5 bar on higher ranges, it can handle switching frequencies up to 200/min and provides an IP65 ingress protection rating. It functions reliably in ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +80 °C, and with various seal materials (NBR, EPDM, FKM), it’s compatible with diverse fluids and temperature environments.
The SUCO 0161 excels in demanding hydraulic systems, high-pressure power packs, and heavy machinery installations where reliability and overpressure protection are critical. Its field-adjustability allows technicians to fine-tune activation setpoints on-site for optimal control, while the robust aluminium housing and high IP65 protection enable use in harsh, outdoor, or wash-down environments. With its high-voltage capability and changeover contacts, it’s well-suited for safety interlocks, pump control, or pressure shutdown tasks in general hydraulics, water systems, and heavy industry applications.
