Suco - 0140/0141 Pressure Switch

IP65

The SUCO 0140 (diaphragm type) and 0141 (piston type) switches are compact, hex‑27 mechanical devices featuring a zinc‑plated steel body with snap‑action silver contacts and screw terminal wiring, plus an optional IP65-rated polyamide cap. They operate across a broad voltage range (5–24 V DC, 10250 V AC/DC) with max current capacities up to 2 A AC/DC depending on the configuration. Pressure ranges are available from as low as 0.3 bar up to 150 bar, with tolerances between ±0.2 and ±5 bar depending on range. Designed for high durability, they withstand pressure rise rates up to 1,000 bar/s, endure ~1 million cycles at 50 bar, resist vibration/shock, and maintain stable performance in temperatures from 40 °C to +120 °C depending on seal material.

The 0140/0141 series excels in hydraulic and pneumatic systems where reliable, potential‑free pressure-based switching is needed. Typical uses include pump control, safety shut-offs, alarm activation, and monitoring in mobile hydraulics, industrial machinery, water systems, and chemical plants. The diaphragm model is suited for wet media and gas, while the piston variant handles higher pressures with broader range options up to 150 bar. Their compact hex housing and multiple thread options (G1/4″, NPT, UNF) simplify integration, and the mechanical snap-action gives fast response with approximately 10–20% factory-set hysteresis. With versatility in seal compatibility and IP65 environmental protection, these switches provide durable, serviceable solutions in harsh industrial environments without requiring external power.

What is hydrostatic level monitoring?

A hydrostatic level probe measures liquid level indirectly, by sensing pressure at a known depth. When the application is suitable and the installation is done properly, hydrostatic level probes offer several clear benefits.
