OMAL

Rackon Rack and Pinion pneumatic actuator

The Omal “Rackon” actuators use a Rack & Pinon design to transform a linear motion generated by the actuator pistons directly into a rotational output shaft motion 0°÷90°.

Standard actuators (DA and SR) have a clockwise rotation (CW) direction to close the valves (0° closed valve, 90° opened valve), but counter-clockwise rotation (CCW) versions (0° opened valve, 90° closed valve) are available too.

Double acting (DA) Rack & Pinon actuators are available from 10Nm to 474Nm and have a constant linear torque curve on both cycles, while Spring Return (SR) Rack & Pinon actuators are available from 15Nm to 347Nm and have a decreasing linear torque curve.

Mounting flanges according to EN ISO 5211: F03 - F04 - F05 - F07 - F10 - F12. In accordance with EN 15714-3.

Conformity with ATEX 2014/34/EU directive is available.
