CONTA-CLIP
The PKBZ 965 is a series of pluggable female socket blocks featuring screw-terminal connections and a 7.62 mm pitch, available in configurations ranging from 2 to 16 poles. Each variant offers reliable technical performance: rated for 12 A current, 400 V voltage, and 6 kV impulse voltage, with compliance to Overvoltage Category III and Pollution Degree 3, ensuring safe and stable operation in industrial environments. These connectors are constructed with a polyamide 6.6 housing (UL 94 V-0) and brass clamping elements, complemented by bronze contact springs and steel screws. Safety and durability are reinforced by glow-wire resistance that meets GWFI 850 °C and GWIT 775 °C standards, CTI 600 for tracking resistance, and up to 100 mating cycles, operating reliably between –30 °C to +105 °C. Approvals from UL, cUL, and VDE (UL 1059, CSA 22.2 No. 158, DIN EN 61984) further validate its credentials for use in regulated markets.
The PKBZ 965 series serves as a versatile solution for PCB-to-wire or board-to-module interconnections across sectors such as industrial automation, control cabinet construction, and transportation systems. Its screw-connection design supports wiring flexibility and strong contacts, suitable for wiring multi-channel control panels or modular system designs. The range of pole counts provides flexibility for dense circuit layouts, enabling designers to match the connector size to their application precisely. The high current and voltage ratings make it suitable for both control signals and power distribution within compact PCB assemblies. Combined with its high temperature and flame resistance and robust safety certifications, the PKBZ 965 is ideal for environments demanding reliability, serviceability, and safety, including heavy machinery, HVAC systems, and commercial electrical panels.
