Control Isolation Box, 25A / 40A
IDEM’s Skorpion M-ISB1 is a trapped key control isolation switch box with die cast metal barrel housing, SS-ISB1 is a trapped key control isolation switch box with stainless-steel barrel housing, both variants are available in 25A and 40A versions.
Control Isolation Switches are the first part of the trapped key system and is usually on the control panel. Available with 25A or 40A. (For 63A rating please see M-ISB2).
The isolation switch box is where the isolator key for a trapped key system is placed and trapped so power can be provided to the guarded area. When the key is turned power to the guarded area is cut and the key can be removed from the switch.
