The LMZ is housed in mirror‑polished 316 stainless‑steel and is fully encapsulated to IP69K standards, making it highly resistant to high‑pressure washdowns and harsh cleansing cycles typical in hygienic environments. It offers RFID‑coded sensing for tamper‑resistant operation and delivers dual-channel PNP OSSD outputs with an auxiliary diagnostic output, compatible with standard safety relays to achieve PLe under ISO 13849‑1 even when multiple switches are wired in series. The LMZ provides a generous sensing distance of up to 12 mm ON, with broad tolerance for actuator misalignment, ensuring reliable actuation across varied installations. Two coding options are available: “M” (Master) where any actuator will operate any switch, or “U” (Unique), offering up to 32 million unique codes for environments requiring high actuator/circuit segregation.
