ASO SENTIR Robot Bumper Accessories
The ASO Safety Solutions SENTIR bumper for robotics integrates a precisely engineered mounting bracket, typically utilising M4-threaded fasteners, to ensure secure attachment of the aluminium/PVC-backed bumper to a robot arm, allowing robust all-round protection even during rotational movements. The bumper assembly includes not only the tactile sensor pad encased in durable artificial leather, but also comes with an extension cable, a safety relay, mounting hardware, and screws for seamless integration into robotic systems. Designed to withstand extensive use, it delivers highly reliable, fast-acting contact detection with an actuation force under 100 N and can sustain over a million switching cycles, instantly triggering a shutdown signal upon contact. Rated for protection class IP54 and an operating temperature range of 0 °C to +55 °C, the bumper offers vibration resistance, making it ideal for safeguarding both high-speed collaborative robots and operators without compromising movement fluidity.
