Katko Enclosed Switch Disconnectors

Katko enclosed switch disconnectors, are robust and versatile load-break switches designed for industrial, commercial, and hazardous environments, with current ratings ranging from 16 A to 1600 A and compliance with IEC 60947-3. Housed in durable enclosures made from polycarbonate (IP66), ABS (IP65), aluminium (IP65, IK08–IK10), or stainless steel (IP66), these switches are suitable for a wide range of applications including machine isolation, food processing, outdoor installations, and explosive dust zones (ATEX Zone 22 certified models available). Key features include silver alloy contacts for high breaking capacity (up to 8 kA at 690 V AC), thermal operation from –40 °C to +80 °C, and 3- or 4-pole configurations. Stainless steel models are ideal for hygienic or corrosive environments, while polycarbonate and aluminium versions offer high UV, chemical, and impact resistance. Accessories such as handles, terminal covers, and auxiliary contacts further enhance adaptability, making these switches a reliable choice for demanding control and isolation needs.
