These fuse links protect semiconductors, cables, and all installation switchgear. High-speed fuse links with very fast melting characteristics are designed for use with semiconductors as semiconductors are are highly sensitive to even brief overcurrent conditions and can be easily damaged. Any excessive current can be detrimental to semiconductors therefore a fuse with rapid response times is required.
This product range is primarily intended for protecting auxiliary circuits in photovoltaic plants with string inverters, operating at voltages up to 1,000V AC/DC. However, they can also be used in other applications such as rectifiers, UPS systems, converters, motor drives, soft starters, solid-state relays, welding inverters, and more.
