Uninsulated pin terminals - SKS

SKS

The SKS uninsulated pin terminals are precision-engineered crimp lugs shaped to DIN 46230 standards, ideal for terminating solid or stranded copper conductors ranging from 0.5 mm² up to a robust 95 mm². They are manufactured from high-conductivity Cu‑ETP copper, compliant with DIN EN 13599, and feature a tin-plated finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and superior electrical contact. Each variant includes a funnel-shaped entry aiding in cable insertion, with defined strip lengths of 524 mm depending on cable size. These pin terminals are soldered and rated to withstand continuous operating temperatures up to +125 °C.

SKS pin terminals are widely used to achieve clean, secure connections in screw-and clamp-style terminal blocks found in control panels, switchgear, and industrial machinery. Their pin shape ensures consistent conductor insertion, prevents stray wire strands, and enables compact layouts, especially useful where multiple conductors must be terminated in confined spaces. The robust copper construction with a tin finish ensures long-term reliability under vibration and thermal cycling, making them an excellent choice for automation systems, power distribution racks, and heavy-duty equipment wiring.
