The cable glands Progress® EMC easyCONNECT guarantees full control during installation and compensates for tolerances in shielding thicknesses to make a secure and reliable connection to the cable screen.
The spring system provides quick and easy contact of partially stripped shield cables as well as for the contact of completely exposed cable shields which can be carried through the gland further.
Solutions that use a sleeve of multiple flexible fingers, can be time consuming to assemble, have sharp edges and are difficult to achieve a stray braid free connection.
Optimal shield contact
The powerful, protective clamping of the cable shield guarantees excellent shield contact and provides for the smallest possible transfer impedance. The shape of the contact spring not only allows fora large clamping range to the shield but also for easy disassembly without damaging the EMC braid.
