The KDS-SR-FDA Compact Modular cable entry system by CONTA‑CLIP delivers a high-performance, hygienic solution for feeding pre‑assembled cables, hoses, pipes and tubes into enclosures without disassembly. This three-part modular system consists of an outer screw frame, inner locking frame, and foam‑in-seal inserts, all FDA‑certified, halogen‑ and silicone‑free, and built from glass‑fibre-reinforced polyamide V‑0. Frames are available in lengths from 73 mm up to 147 mm (plus custom sizing up to 153 mm), a typical height around 18.9 mm, and fitted to IP 66 / NEMA 4X standards, operating from –40 °C to 120 °C. UL and cUL certified to UL 508 and C22.2 No 14‑95, the system ensures reliable sealing and mechanical strength with just two M5 screws torqued to 3 Nm.

In practice, the compact frame is the ideal entry solution for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and clean‑room control panels. Its modularity accommodates a wide range of pre‑terminated cable diameters—without cutting connectors—while maintaining IP66 protection in washdown environments.
