EZS Soft Closing Stay

The Sugatsune EZS-ELAN Lift-Assist Stay is a high-performance flap door mechanism designed for upward-opening cabinet doors. It integrates a patented Lapcon system that combines lift-assist, free-stop, and soft-close functionalities. The lift-assist feature reduces the effort needed to open doors, while the free-stop mechanism allows the door to hold at any angle between 30° and 70°, and the soft-close function gently slows the door from 20° to closed, preventing slamming. Constructed from steel and ABS with a nickel finish, the EZS-ELAN is suitable for wooden flap doors and has passed 30,000 open/close cycles in private testing. Its compact design is mounted at the top interior of the cabinet, maximising usable space and eliminating the need for additional hinges or connecting bars.
