Coreless Brushed DC Motors have supreme performance, offering highly dynamic power in a very small form compared to convention brushed DC motors. They are easy to control to a high level of precision at all speeds. MOONS’ DC coreless brushed DC motors are available in 13mm, 17mm, and 24mm diameter. The hollow (hence coreless) rotor design has very low rotational inertia compared to conventional brush DC motor design, and as a result, can deliver very high acceleration. Excellent low speed characteristics are also a key feature of the design architecture with no cogging effect present.
These ultra-compact high-performance motors offer speeds of up to 12,900rpm and can be coupled with an optional gearbox can deliver very high torque for its size. An encoder option is available for positional applications.
The miniature size and ultra-performance characteristics of these DC motors lend themselves well to applications in the medical and scientific sectors
