Sales Engineer - Machine Vision & Code Reading

Background:

Candidates will have a proven track record in the selling machine vision hardware and software to industrial customers.  

Responsibilities:

  • The selling of cameras, lenses, illumination systems, image analysis software and associated vision equipment for industrial to system integrators and end-users. 
  • Expanding sales into new industrial sectors 
  • Generation of new sales leads 
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations and contracts 
  • Advising customers on the technical merits of various vision systems. 
  • Providing demonstrations & training 
  • Preparing sales forecasts 

Candidates must be prepared to: 

  • Travel throughout the UK and Ireland. 
  • Attend product training at locations throughout Europe. 

Candidates must: 

  • Possess a technical knowledge of machine vision cameras, lenses and illumination systems 
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Be able to work on their own initiative  
  • Hold a valid driving license  
  • Be permitted to work in the UK and mainland Europe 

The package: 

  • Excellent basic salary + bonus + company car
  • Based at Whetstone, Leicestershire or home.
