SUCO

Suco - 0196/0197 Pressure Switch

Stainless steel body

The SUCO 0196 and 0197 series are compact, diaphragm‑based mechanical pressure switches designed for reliable monitoring of both positive and, where applicable, differential pressures. These switches are available in a wide pressure range and can include adjustable dead‑band settings to fine‑tune switch sensitivity. Constructed with stainless steel and brass wetted parts, they resist corrosion and are suitable for various media, including hydraulic oils, water glycol, and air. SPDT (single‑pole, double‑throw) electrical contacts make them easy to integrate with control systems, and an optional LED indicator is often included to provide visual confirmation of switching status. Standard electrical ratings such as 10 A at 250 VAC ensure compatibility with industrial power systems.

These mechanical pressure switches are ideal for safeguarding hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and process control systems. In hydraulic circuits, they can prevent overpressure damage by shutting systems down or triggering alarms when pressure thresholds are exceeded. In HVAC installations, they serve as pressure interlocks–for example, ensuring that compressors only start once sufficient refrigerant flow is confirmed. With their simple but sturdy design, they’re well‑suited for environments where electrical power may be intermittent or where quick mechanical switching is preferred over electronic alternatives. Easy to mount via G⅛ or ¼ BSP ports, they offer installers a versatile and low‑maintenance option, making them a popular choice in industrial automation, mobile hydraulics, and safetycritical systems.
