SUCO

Suco - 0170/0171 Pressure Switch

Basic changeover switch

The SUCO 0170 and 0171 pressure switches are compact, robust mechanical devices designed for reliable performance in demanding hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Featuring 27 mm hex zinc-plated, Cr VI-free steel body and AMP 6.3 × 0.8 mm spade terminals, these switches support up to 42 V AC/DC and a resistive load of 4 A. They are equipped with silver snap-action contacts and offer switching frequencies up to 200 cycles per minute with a mechanical life expectancy of around one million cycles. The 0170 model uses a diaphragm mechanism suited for lower pressure ranges (starting from 0.3 bar), while the 0171 piston variant handles higher pressures, up to 200 bar, with excellent overpressure resistance, 100 bar for the diaphragm and up to 600 bar for the piston version. The switching point is field-adjustable across five pressure bands and includes a factory-set hysteresis of 1030%, offering flexibility in integration and performance tuning. A wide selection of sealing materials, including NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, and HNBR, ensures compatibility with various fluids and operating temperatures ranging from –30 °C up to +120 °C.

These switches are ideal for a range of industrial and mobile applications such as hydraulic power packs, compressors, filtration systems, and lubrication or braking circuits in heavy equipment. The diaphragm version excels in sensitive control systems involving air, water, or oil at lower pressures, while the piston version provides reliable high-pressure monitoring in robust environments like construction machinery, factory automation, or process plants. Their compact form factor, high durability, and strong resistance to vibration and pressure surges make them a versatile and dependable choice for pressure monitoring and safety interlocking in diverse operating conditions.
