Suco - 0159 Pressure Switch

Aluminium body

The SUCO 0159 series mechanical pressure switch is a robust, heavy‑duty SPDT (changeover) pressure control device housed in a durable aluminium body, designed for in‑process adjustment and demanding applications. It connects via a G1/4 female thread and features a PG9 cable gland for electrical ingress protection. Rated up to 250 VAC or DC, the switch accommodates medium-to-high pressure systems with eight selectable adjustment ranges, from as low as 0.2–2 bar up to 40–400 bar. Its maximum operating pressure holds steady up to 200 bar, and overpressure safety options extend further to 600 bar. The compact mechanism supports a switching frequency of 200 cycles per minute and carries an IP65 rating, ensuring reliable performance in harsh or industrial environments.

The 0159 excels in hydraulic and pneumatic systems where ruggedness and precision are essential, such as factory automation, machine tools, and mobile hydraulics. Field-adjustable screw settings allow rapid calibration on installation or during maintenance. Wetted parts made from aluminium and NBR (or EPDM/FKM alternatives) provide compatibility with a range of fluids and media temperatures from –40 °C to +100 °C (up to +120 °C for EPDM/FKM). With a contact load capacity of up to 2.5 A at AC (0.3 A at DC), stable switch points (±0.20.5 bar accuracy), and a compact 240 g form factor, the 0159 reliably monitors system pressure to control pumps, activate alarms, prevent overpressure, or regulate safety circuits in industrial setups
