The DCmind Brush range is Crouzet's next generation of high-performance brushed DC motors, engineered to be extremely quiet and energy-efficient they are ideal for medical and laboratory applications, and any application that requires very low noise and vibration levels.

 

The motor without gearbox emits a noise level of just 35 dBA (for comparison moderate rainfall is around 50dBA), the DCmind Brush motors have a lifespan of up to 24,000hrs with no load and up to 5,000hrs with rated load.

 

All motors are rated to IP65 as standard with the option to reach up to IP69K.

 

DCmind is UL certified and carries various other specific certificates, including medical

 

The standard motors can be adapted to better suit a specific application, adaptations can include the addition of an encoder, brake, special output shaft and general minor mechanical/electrical modifications
