Blackbody BB200
Workswell BB200 is a high‑precision blackbody reference source for infrared thermography, designed for accurate thermal camera calibration and verification. It provides a continuous 30–200°C (86–392°F) temperature range in 0.1°C steps and features a temperature‑stabilised, 100 mm active surface. The pyramid-structured emitter helps minimise reflections and improve emission uniformity, delivering emissivity of 0.95 ± 0.005 (LWIR) with long-term stability better than ±0.08%.
BB200 is a practical, cost-effective calibrator that delivers the accuracy needed for applications such as fever-screening solutions and other quality-critical thermal measurements. A 1/4-20 UNC mounting thread supports quick installation, while the durable Teflon and aluminium housing is built for everyday use. For efficient operation, the unit can store temperature setpoints in internal memory for automatic recall at start-up, and the integrated OLED display shows both the set temperature and the measured surface temperature.
As part of Workswell MEDICAS, BB200 is designed to comply with relevant standards including IEC 80601-2-59 and ISO 16142. For integration and remote control, it supports an SDK as well as RS‑485 and USB‑C connectivity, backed by detailed manuals, a sample application and accessories such as RS‑485 cables and converters. The result is a reliable, accurate and easy-to-use reference source that streamlines calibration and supports robust quality assurance in professional thermal workflows.
