CAL’s digital thermostats are used to temperature control or monitor in applications that do not require accurate PID control, but where the temperature is possible to read on a clear display. This can, for example, be water baths, furnaces, climate control in computer rooms, heating food, etc. It is also used as over temperature protection, e.g. where a regulator manages the actual control and a separate thermostat is required to give maximum safety. The thermostats can be calibrated for e.g. long cable routes (sensor adjustment). The set point value can be limited so that it cannot be increased or decreased to a forbidden level or by mistake.
