PKDZ 770

The PKDZ 770 series from Conta-Clip is a three-level screw-connection PCB terminal block designed for high-density wiring in compact spaces. With a 5.08 mm pitch, the series supports conductor sizes up to 4 mm² (rigid) or 2.5 mm² (with ferrules) and carries up to 22 A at 250 V, withstanding impulse voltages of 2 kV. Its robust design features M3 screws with 0.5 Nm torque, an 8 mm stripping length, and a 1.3 mm drill hole for secure solder pin placement. Built from flame-retardant polyamide 6.6 (UL 94 V-0) with brass clamps and copper alloy solder lugs, the PKDZ 770 ensures long-term durability, high insulation resistance, and compliance with stringent standards for overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3. Designed to withstand –30 °C to +105 °C, wave soldering, and glow-wire tests, it is optimised for both reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
