Product description
The RAPIDPLUS® SQB Square‑Body aR fuse links are high‑speed semiconductor fuses engineered by DF Electric for protection of power electronic components. Available in a wide current range they support AC voltages up to 690 V. Designed for high fault-current interruption, they feature either M8 flush-end threaded contacts or robust blade contact options (80 mm or 110 mm) to ensure reliable connection in both panel-mounted and busbar systems. Their operating temperature span of –25 °C to +60 °C makes them suitable for demanding industrial environments. Each fuse is compact yet capable of clearing high-energy fault conditions, making them ideal whenever semiconductors like diodes, thyristors, IGBT modules, or triacs are used.
These SQB fuses safeguard critical components in equipment such as motor drives, photovoltaic inverters, welding power supplies, UPS systems, and high-power rectifiers. The square-body design allows optimised integration into panel fuse holders, offering low I²t to protect sensitive semiconductor devices with minimal energy let-through. With a high breaking capacity and fast acting characteristics, they prevent cascading failures in voltage conversion systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation and ease of replacement across a broad range of current ratings.
