STEGO
For a filter fan to optimally cool, the filter must not be blocked. It should therefore be checked and cleaned or regularly replaced. To simplify replacement, STEGO supplies filter mats in paper boxes with self-adhesive backs, with five filter mats per box. The box can then be easily attached in the cabinet so that filter mats are always on hand. Filters are available in three variants; G3 with an 85 % degree of filtering, G4 with 94 % and F5 with 98 %. The enclosure class for filter fans/blow-off covers, from the outside against the panel with G3 is IP43, with G4 IP54 and with F5 IP55. Our fans are supplied with the G4 filter as standard. If circumstances permit, the G3 filter can be used instead for increased airflow. The filter mats are made of self-extinguishing synthetic fibre and withstand temperatures of up to +100 °C.
