The HG‑TLAJ is a stainless‑steel, surface-mounted torque hinge featuring built‑in spring assistance and adjustable retaining torque, ideal for top‑opening lids and panels. Its lift‑assist spring supports opening and closing within a 0–100° range, reducing effort and improving ergonomics. The hinge’s retaining torque, ranging from 0–3.5 Nm, is easily tuned using a 10 mm hex key for tailored resistance. Made of stainless steel with polished finish and complemented by a 430 stainless or plastic cover (optional), it has been durability tested for 50,000 open/close cycles and operates between 0 °C and 40 °C.
In real-world applications, the HG‑TLAJ excels in safety-critical and precision-focused industries such as medical devices, laboratory analysers, and factory‑automation equipment where controlled lid motion is essential. By enabling free-stop positioning and effortless lift, it eliminates sudden drops and facilitates holistic cleaning and maintenance without removing lids.
