Established in Oulu, Finland in 2010, Tosibox was founded on the idea of making secure remote access quick and simple. The first patented Plug & GoTM device was sold in 2012 and Tosibox quickly established subsidiaries in Germany, Scandinavia and the USA. Their solution is now available from partners across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia.

This solution creates a direct VPN tunnel between Tosibox Lock and Key. The Lock protects all devices connected to it and allows the Key holder remote access from anywhere in the world. No port-forwarding or special IT skills are required. Infrastructure is unlimitedly modular - new Locks and Keys can be added seamlessly to expand the system without changing it. The Tosibox solution allows legacy hardware to be integrated with current generation devices, making it a timeless solution.
Tosibox is patented, globally audited and has the highest level of security in the industry. Technology is based on two-factor authentication, automatic security updates and the latest encryption technology. It is not a cloud-based service as a direct VPN tunnel is established between the physical Lock and Key. Data remain encrypted and secure as only trusted devices can have access.
