Product description

The H8 Series M8 High Frequency Through Beam Sensor from Datasensing (formerly known as Micro Detectors) is designed for precision object detection in high-speed and high-frequency applications. This compact, M8-sized sensor is engineered to provide accurate through-beam detection with superior response time and reliability, making it ideal for use in industries such as material handling, automation, packaging, and robotics. With its high-frequency capabilities, the H8 Series ensures fast and precise object detection, even in fast-paced environments where timing is crucial.

This through-beam sensor works by emitting a high-frequency signal from the emitter and detecting when that signal is interrupted by an object, triggering a response. Its M8 form factor allows for easy integration into tight spaces, offering flexibility in system design while maintaining strong performance. The sensor is capable of detecting objects at a range of distances, providing versatility for different applications. Its compact size does not compromise on the ability to detect small or fast-moving items with high accuracy.

The H8 Series M8 High Frequency Through Beam Sensor is built with industrial durability in mind. Its robust housing ensures resistance to dust, moisture, and environmental factors, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. With quick response times and high-frequency detection, it is particularly suited for environments requiring high-speed automation and precision.

Technical features:

  • Sensor Type: Through-beam sensor that detects objects by measuring interruptions in the transmitted beam between the emitter and receiver.
  • Size: M8 form factor for compact design and easy integration into tight spaces or systems with limited space.
  • High-Frequency Operation: Designed for high-frequency detection, ensuring fast and reliable object detection in high-speed applications.
  • Operating Range: Effective detection over a specified range, suitable for both short and medium-distance applications.
  • Detection Method: Through-beam detection, with a dedicated emitter and receiver for reliable object presence detection.
  • Fast Response Time: Provides quick response times, ideal for high-speed environments where rapid object detection and system response are critical.
  • Durability: Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, offering resistance to dust, moisture, and mechanical wear.
  • Power Supply: Operates on a standard 24V DC power supply, compatible with most industrial control systems.
  • Connection Type: Typically offers M8 connection, making it easy to integrate into automation and industrial systems.
  • Environmental Protection: Designed to withstand environmental factors like dust, moisture, and vibrations, ensuring reliable performance in various settings.
  • Applications: Ideal for high-speed automation, robotics, material handling, packaging, and safety applications.
