Meet Zebra Aurora™ Vision (formerly Adaptive Vision)

Following acquisition by Zebra Technologies, Adaptive Vision has been rebranded as Zebra Aurora™ Vision.

It’s a leading developer and provider of graphical machine vision software, libraries and tools for machine vision analysis. It creates effective and user-friendly technology for machine builders, vision system integrators and end-users.

This isn’t just about rebranding, of course. The acquisition opens the door to investment by a larger business plus access to a wider range of end-to-end products.

Overview of Aurora™ Vision software

The Zebra Aurora™ Vision Studio (formerly Adaptive Vision Studio) is intuitive, powerful and adaptable machine vision software designed for machine vision engineers. It works with all major manufacturers of vision cameras.

It’s fast, powerful and can be enhanced with deep learning. No software programming skills are required and the architecture is highly flexible, ensuring that users can easily adapt the product to the way they work and to the specific requirements of any project.

Zebra Aurora™ Deep Learning (formerly Deep Learning Add-on) is a set of ready-made tools which can detect defects or features automatically, once the user trains it with “good” and “bad” samples. Although Deep Learning uses large neural network structures internally, the user is able to use simple filters and easy-to-use graphical tools to train the system.
