DLS100R works with red visible light. A clear red light point can be seen at a distance of up to 1 m. For uses, the red visible light is very useful for adjustment and operation. A good choice for difficult direct detecting, e.g. the colour, surface or shape of objects varies. Behind the object is a “background” which must not be detected. This operates satisfactorily in dusty and dirty environments.
