All power supply units in the series feature high efficiency, which entails low power loss/temperatures in the switch cabinet. SL5.100 has a power boost of 20% that enables higher current extraction without drops in voltage. This function is especially useful during start-ups and to overcome temporary current peaks in the application. The power boost can be used continually up to 45°C and for shorter periods from 45°C to 60°C.
