258 DC wiper motor with worm gearbox

The DOGA 258 series comprises of a permanent magnet DC motor with worm gearbox developed for a compact, low noise and cost effective solution to suit many applications. Standard supply voltages are 12 or 24Vdc that can be supplied from a battery or power supply unit, with nominal output torque up to 15Nm and starting torque up to 80Nm the geared motor is suitable for applications that need high power at start-up. Output speeds range from 25rpm up to 40rpm to suit the application requirements, a DC motor controller can be used with this motor if variable output speed control is required. IP53 as standard offers basic protection against dust and water ingress and an EMC filter is available on many articles for llimiting electrical interference. The standard worm gear wheel is made from hardened plastic offering low noise and good performance, but there are options for resinbonded material which can assist with more arduous applications.

For small to medium quantities DOGA can offer customisations to offer a bespoke individual solution that include adaptations to the output shaft, supply voltage, gear wheel material, cabling/connectors, gear ratio's and motor windings.
